So I have always wanted to try baking a loaf of bread in a dutch oven. So I did, but I decided to do it on my Gas BBQ. Anyone knows that a Gas BBQ isnt a real BBQ, but just an outside gas oven, but hey we are in the middle of a heatwave so I didnt want to do it in the kitchen making it and the rest of the house even hotter. And it worked.

Recipe
For this I used my Cheats Sourdough recipe which can be found by clicking on the link, but it would work just as well using the Basic White Bread recipe too.
Method
For either recipe when you are about to knock it back and shape for the final rise, do the following
Light your BBQ and set for a temperature of 200 Deg Celcius. Place your Dutch Oven (With its own lid) on the BBQ and close the lid of the BBQ.
Knock Back your bread, shape into a ball and place on a piece of Grease Proof Baking Paper, cover and let rise for its final time until doubled in size.
WARNING DUTCH OVEN AND LID WILL BE SCALDING HOT! USE OVEN GLOVES!
When bread is ready to bake (At least 30 Mins) take the bread to the BBQ, open the BBQ Lid and take off the lid off the dutch oven (WARNING IT WILL BE SCALDING HOT! USE OVEN GLOVES)
Place the bread on the Baking paper inside the dutch oven and replace the dutch oven lid and close the lid of the BBQ.
Cook for 30 mins
After 30 mins remove the lid from the dutch oven so the top of the loaf browns, but remember to close the BBQ lid to maintain cooking temperature, and cook for another 5 to 10 mins.
