These Goat meat Koftas are a great alternative to the normal Lamb and give a sence of authenticity

Ingredients

  • 500g Goat mince,
  • 2 Tsp Paprika,
  • 2 Tsp Cumin,
  • 2 Tsp Cayenne
  • 2 Tsp Coriander
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon.
  • 2 large Garlic Cloves crushed.
  • Handful of fresh mint leaves chopped fine, (use 2 Tsp mint sauce if fresh mint not available)
  • Salt and pepper.

Method

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well with your hands. Then place in the fridge for at least an hour, preferably overnight.

The goat mince with herbs and spices.

Divide into 8 equal portion and roll into ball shapes then into the classic Kofta shape, you can place on skewers if you wish.

Fry or grill until cooked through and piping hot.
